John Wick: Chapter 2 is a 2017 American action thriller movie. Chad Stahelski directed the movie. Derek Kolstad wrote the screenplay. This is the second movie in the John Wick movie series. John Wick is an assassin who is trying to escape while people try to kill him.  It is a sequel to John Wick.

The movie was filmed in New York City. The movie premiered in Los Angeles on January 30, 2017, and was  released in the United States on February 10, 2017. It earned $171.5 million, over four times its $40 million budget.[1] A third movie, titled John Wick: Chapter 3, was released on May 17, 2019.

Sypnopsis[change | change source]

Retired super-assassin John Wick's plans to resume a quiet civilian life are cut short when Italian gangster Santino D'Antonio shows up on his doorstep with a gold marker, compelling him to repay past favours. Ordered by Winston, the kingpin of secret assassin society The Continental, to respect the organisation's ancient code, Wick reluctantly accepts the assignment to travel to Rome to take out D'Antonio's sister, the ruthless capo atop the Italian Camorra crime syndicate.
