Khushwant Singh

Khushwant Singh (2 February 1915 – 20 March 2014) was an Indian writer, poet and journalist. His work was mostly in English. He was best known for his secularism. He was born in Hadali, British India, which is now Sargodha District, Pakistan.

Singh died from natural causes on the morning of 20 March 2014 at his home in New Delhi. He was 99 years old.[1]
