Maya Thevar

Karuppu Maya Thevar (15 October 1934 – 9 August 2022) was an Indian politician. He was a Member of Parliament for the Lok Sabha from Tamil Nadu from 1973 to 1984.[1][2] He was born in Usilampatti, then-British India. He was a member of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

Thevar died on 9 August 2022 in Chinnalapatti, India from cardiac arrest at the age of 87.[3]
