"Murder on My Mind" (also known by the censored name "Mischief on My Mind") is the third single off of American rapper YNW Melly's first mixtape I Am You. The song was released on June 1, 2018. The song was able to make it to #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, #7 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and is certified 6× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[1][2]
The song is about a murder and the victims last moments. Melly said that made the chorus when he was 16 while he was sitting in jail.[3] The song became viral when Melly was charged for double murder on February 13, 2019.[4]
