Nur Hassan Hussein

Nur Hassan Hussein (Somali: Nuur Xasan Xuseen Cadde, Arabic: نور حسن حسين‎; 16 February 1937 – 1 April 2020) was a Somali politician. He served as Prime Minister of Somalia from November 2007 to February 2009. He was Somalia's ambassador to Italy from 2009 to 2013. He was born in Mogadishu.

On 1 April 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, Hussein died in Camberwell, London of COVID-19. He was 83.[1]
