Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an action role playing game. The game was released on January 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch. It is part of the eighth generation of Pokémon games and the first game in the Pokemon Legends spin-off series. The game is set in the Hisui region, a past version of the Sinnoh region, where the games Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl take place. A follow-up game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, will be released in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch.
