Race to Witch Mountain is a 2009 American science fiction adventure thriller movie directed by Andy Fickman. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson in the lead role, with AnnaSophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, Ciarán Hinds, and Carla Gugino.[1] It was the fifth and latest instalment in the Witch Mountain franchise.

The movie follows Jack Bruno, a taxi driver from Las Vegas, swept up in the adventure of a lifetime when he meets Sara and Seth, a pair of young extraterrestrial siblings who have paranormal powers. In order to prevent an invasion of Earth by their government, Jack must help them reach their spaceship, which is buried within Witch Mountain. But the task will not be easy, for government agents and an alien assassin are on their trail.

Race to Witch Mountain was released on March 13, 2009, in the United States, through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. While receiving mixed reviews from movie critics, the movie was a box office success, grossing $106.4 million worldwide against a production budget of $50 million.
