Rivian is an American Electric Vehicle manufacturer and automotive technology and outdoor recreation company. It was founded in 2009. by R.J Scaringe which is also the current CEO and It produces an electric sport utility vehicle (SUV), the R1S a pickup truck the R1T on a "skateboard" platform that can support future vehicles or be adopted by other companies, and an electric delivery van, the Rivian EDV. It is based in Irvine, California.
