Roman Abramovich (born October 24, 1966 in Saratov, Russia) is a Russian-British businessman. He is one of the richest men in the world.[2] According to 2006 Forbes Magazine, he has a net worth of $18.2 billion.[3] He owns Chelsea F.C., an English Premiership football club. He has given Chelsea a lot money to pay their players, and buy new ones. He is a former governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the farthest eastern region of Russia.
