In astrology Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter.

Characteristics[change | change source]

Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of Sagittarius:[1][2][3][4]

The Sagittarius has some very good characteristics, but with some very bad ones too. This is because they have two personalities, because the Centaur (Sagittarius' symbol), is half horse half person.

The Sagittarius's two personalities:

  • the animal (horse): (aggressive, rebellious, free-roaming, etc.),
  • and the person: (clever, philosophical, open-minded, honest etc.),

are always fighting each other. This everyday fight inside a Sagittarius' personality is seen in Sagittarius' sign, as a bow notching a heavy cross.

Relationships[change | change source]

Sagittarius friends, being spontaneous and adventurous, are great fun to be with and will provide you with experiences that you would otherwise not have had.[5] Your spirits will be lifted by Sagittarius's optimistic and positive nature.[5]

Career[change | change source]

Sagittarius live by the mantra "work hard - play hard".[6] Sagittarius, whilst being seekers of an adventurous style of life, are also in touch with reality and understand that it's hard work that will afford them an active lifestyle.[6]
