Singapore Airlines Flight 321 was an international flight from London Heathrow to Changi Airport, using a Boeing 777-300ER. On 21 May 2024, the aircraft operating the route (registered as 9V-SWM) encountered severe turbulence while over Myanmar. One passenger was killed. The aircraft managed to make a safe diversion to Suvarnabhumi Airport with 104 injured. The aircraft received significant damage. This was the first fatal accident of Singapore Airlines since 31 October 2000.[1]
