Number of Sangai deers[change source]

SHB2000 I think you missed one information. The number of Sangais in the report of the 2020s. Haoreima (talk) 14:55, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh oops. Time to fix that. SHB2000 (talk) 21:12, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Indian sources"[change source]

There seems to be a little tension between me and 89.8.150.53. For that I apologize. 89's edits, however, consist of saying that only Indian sources say that Keibul Lamjao National Park is the only floating national park. This is wrong, however. Keibul Lamjao National Park is called floating by both Nasa and Indian references.— Preceding unsigned comment added by MrMeAndMrMe (talkcontribs) 18:53, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Floating lake" - that is what is being disputed; That idea is scheduled to come crashing down like a lead zeppelin. (The floating national park is not an issue.) 89.8.160.110 (talk) 20:13, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Then explain what is, because that was the main thing that you reverted. MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 21:07, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Floating lake" does not exist as a concept in American-English and British-English; The concept does not seem to be mentioned in the German article about the national park.--Some hints about that can be found at Keibul Lamjao National Park: Revision history. 89.8.106.16 (talk) 22:38, 21 February 2022 (UTC) 89.8.106.16 (talk) 22:40, 21 February 2022 (UTC) 89.8.106.16 (talk) 09:44, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Just because it's not mentioned in the German article, doesn't mean it's nonexistent. Please provide actual evidence as to why it's not a concept because multiple sources indicate that it is a real thing. Multiple sources indicate that a floating lake is a lake consisting of numerous masses of soil and vegetation that floats in the water. MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 23:14, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to see expert sources that use the phrase "floating lake" - i.e. expert sources in the field of hydrology or geology.--I am already aware what Indian newspapers mean by "floating lake". However, they are not experts about hydrology, geology, or American-English or British English.--It is not my loss if Simple-wiki chooses to present junk-English or "junk Natural Sciences". 89.8.106.16 (talk) 00:07, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Once again, I note that websites such as NASA include the term "floating lake". MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 05:14, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
NASA are not experts about geology/hydrology on Earth.--If you were wondering why English-wiki is not using "your" phrase "floating lake", then you can ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Geology; Maybe the users of that talk page, need a good laugh today.--When you re-introduce junk-science that has been ripped away from a Wikipedia article, then the burden is on you to prove that experts recognise "your" junk-terminology (about lakes on the surface of Earth). 89.8.106.16 (talk) 09:40, 22 February 2022 (UTC) 89.8.106.16 (talk) 09:42, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
