I am currently putting the judging for this article "on hold" because I have a question. Camouflaged Mirage, can we (the organizers) make minor changes to the article that won't affect the judging, like linking terms, etc? --Tsugaru let's talk! :) 03:34, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hi つがる..I believe making minor changes to an article won't affect the judging at all. But It will encourage every new editor to come and contribute to open knowledge source. @つがる Sorry I missed replying to this, typically yes, we won't be allowed to edit the contestants articles, but for me this year I decided to IAR a little to encourage participation. So what I did as I said on WP:ST is that I will help to modify the article only slightly if these are what prevents us from accepting, but if it needs significant changes in text, I won't. I also did it consistently across all articles, so this is fair to everyone. I think the effect had been achieved, we had more articles this year.
