Talk:Modest fashion
This article has a lot of room to expand[change source]
The student decided that the modest fashion designer she wanted to profile was not notable enough for her own page, but felt very strongly that SEW should cover modest fashion. I added a little bit on a few more modest fashion designers to help round out the article, but it clearly needs a lot of improvement.

- As is, the article is a good start, something to build upon. I do not know the religious context/background of the people writing this, but I think the following needs to be considered: We are looking at people who are learning English as an additional language, so the focus should be on explaining the concept well. At least I do not care if only words of a given word list are used. If the concept is well-explained that does not matter. In my opinion, images/illustrations can enhance the article, and make it better. The people writing need to spend some time, thinking about what images to choose, but a well-chosen image can add a lot. Look at articles such as kimono to see examples. Note also, I am an external person, so all I can give is input. As to modest fashion, there should porbably be enough images on commons to choose from... Eptalon (talk) 19:21, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- Excellent! We sadly need to discourage students from adding images, as the copyright issues are more than we have time to go into. However, I -- as a librarian -- can take on that work (though it might be a week or two). I can also think more about the introductory descriptions. Thank you for the excellent feedback! - If you use the images you find on Wikimedia Commons you shouldn't have any copyright issues. Personally, I think that whoever the student is who is creating the article, thinking about proper illustration is also part of the task. Eptalon (talk) 20:36, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
