Mention survival sex?

Hello all, I know this is a TOTW; and the original article does not mention it. But think about our readers: Poverty porn - pornography done because people are so poor they can no longer cover their expenses? - Wouldn't that count as 'survival sex' (and therfore a link to that page, in one form or another would be worthwhile). Poverty porn has nothing to do with pornography; I think that shouild be pointed out as well..

This page and its En version is basically rubbish. I would have nothing to do with it. It's not a term with any meaning in English. Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:12, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

I think I had a version of the EnWP page up for translation, but someone was faster translating/writing the page. I cannot tell whether the article is accurate or not; I remember many images like the ones (the EnWP version uses) in the late 1970s/early 1980s. And if the pages are rubbish / use terms English does't use, should we delete them? Eptalon (talk) 14:30, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

This has nothing to do with survival sex, so no, it should not be mentioned on the page except as a "not to be confused with" hatnote (if you think that's necessary). And Macdonald-ross is wrong to say "it has not meaning in English". It's an idiom, which tends to be advocating a certain viewpoint (like "right to choose" for abortion, or "family values" for opposing gay marriage). I'm not totally sure if it needs an article here.
