Temminck's sunbird

The Temminck's sunbird or Temminck's hummingbird (Aethopyga temminckii) is a species of bird. It is found in up to 1800 m altitude in Borneo, Sumatra, Malaysia and southwestern Thailand in humid tropical mountain forests.

The common name of this bird and the Latin binomial commemorate the Dutch aristocrat and zoologist Coenraad Jacob Temminck.[1]
