Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ba is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ba, for example: {{Translated page |ba |name of page at Bashkir Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Bashkir Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Bashkir Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |ba}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ba| some text in Bashkir}} wraps the text with <span lang="ba"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Bashkir-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ba |some text in Bashkir}} which displays as Bashkir: some text in Bashkir.
- {{R from other language|ba|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Bashkir-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ba}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Bashkir-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
