Usage

This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

It is used by the template {{Lang}} with language code ga to include articles in Category:Articles containing Irish-language text. For example: {{Lang |ga |some text in Irish}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="ga">. Also available is {{Lang-ga |some text in Irish}} which displays as Irish: some text in Irish.

It is used by {{ga icon}} and {{Link language|ga}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with Irish-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=ga |name=Irish}}).
