Usage
Template:ISO 639 name ko is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code ko, for example: {{Translated page |ko |name of page at Korean Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Korean Wikipedia and to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Korean Wikipedia.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|ko| some text in Korean}} wraps the text with <span lang="ko"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Korean-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ko |some text in Korean}} which displays as Korean: some text in Korean.
- {{R from other language|ko|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Korean-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ko}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Korean-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
