Please move the <noinclude> tag to the top, so then the title of the template will not be italic. Computer Fizz (talk) 23:36, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That would put everything inside the noinclude tags, making the template useless. Is there a problem with the template name displaying in italics? --Auntof6 (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Crap, sorry. I meant includeonly, not noinclude. There is not that big a problem, it just looks kinda weird.
If I make a 90-minute film about Wikipedia, I'll call it "Template:Italictitle" so it can be in italics. But until I become a famous producer, please add the tag. Computer Fizz (talk) 02:17, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This template is transcluded on 7000+ pages, so let's not make changes unless they are needed, shall we? Having the template name displayed in italics may actually be useful for some people, so that they can see the template's effect for themselves. Chenzw  Talk  02:23, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that. However, about seeing it for themself, that might not work, since the "Template" part isn't italic and it'll look broken. Other than that though, I agree with you. Computer Fizz (talk) 02:24, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This template is meant to be used in mainspace. The key point here is that other editors can see for themselves what an italic page title will look like. Chenzw  Talk  02:27, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, good point. Thanks. Computer Fizz (talk) 02:35, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
