Ungku Abdul Aziz

Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Ungku Abdul Hamid (28 January 1922 – 15 December 2020) was an English-born Malaysian economist. He was the First General Director of the Council on Language and Literature of Malaysia from 1956 to 1957. Aziz was the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Malaya from 1968 to 1988.[1] He was born in London.

Aziz died on 15 December 2020 in Kuala Lumpur at the age of 98.[2]
