Your images and user page[change source]

Hi Anthony. I know that on Commons you said that worked for this gallery, but unfortunately we need visible permission to use these images. The source website doesn't indicate that these images are free to use. So, to help us, read over the steps outlined on Commons:OTRS, ask the copyright holder to send permission to you, and then forward it to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org

It is important to note that where the subject of the photograph is an artistic work, you will need the permission of the artist in addition to the photographer in order for these to be acceptable to us. And they must be free to use commercially. For more information, please read over Commons:Licensing. You have a week before they will be deleted.

I've also deleted your userpage because (overlooking the problems with the images), parts of it had been copied from various websites that were evidently not free to reproduce. Everything you submit here must be in your own words. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any other questions, please ask me. Osiris (talk) 09:14, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Anthonybex. An article you created Eric Charest-Weinberg, has been automatically tagged for deletion because it looks like a test page. Please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. If you think there has been an error please feel free to remove the tag and leave a message here explaining what happened. Thank you. --GoblinBot4 (talk) 19:29, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copyrights[change source]

Anthony: please stop recreating that page with the same content. You've copied large chunks of it from other people's websites that evidently don't allow reproduction. Please write it in your own words. It's also blatantly promotional and not educational. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Please read the links I gave to you at the top of this page and have a look over the conflict of interest guide. This applies here and on the English Wikipedia.

You might also want to visit your talk page on Commons where another administrator has also explained to you the problems with your images. I would strongly advise you to address the issues with the images you have uploaded so far before you upload any more. Osiris (talk) 02:32, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Anthony. I realise you work for the gallery and the photos were taken or belong to your employer. I need you to understand that in order for us to host the images we need written permission sent to us. And I will stress again: you need permission from the photographer and the artist(s) of the work in the photo. If you can get permission from both of these people, you can send it to us through the OTRS network - see here. After you've sent the permission, somebody will come and tag your uploads as being okay.

If you want to avoid having your article deleted, I firstly suggest that you write it in your own words. Don't take anything from another website. You also need to take care to avoid a promotional tone, keep it informative and source the information to reliable references. Please note that it will also be subject to our notability guidelines for people. If the subject is deemed not notable enough to have an article here, it will be deleted. The best way to demonstrate notability is through adding reliable sources. If you have any other questions, please ask. Good luck, Osiris (talk) 03:31, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
