Magnum Crimen[change source]

The article was just in its initial phase - and not a (full) copy from the English WIkipedia, rather the enhanced one. Do not understand your action - the article deletion. I planned it to change and simplify it - with the help of other editors and through a constructive discussion. I'll prepare another version - hope not facing an irrational hostility from your side.--MagnumCrimen (talk) 02:59, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Restored, you should of put (simplifying or something). --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 03:05, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Latest Bambifan sock[change source]

Hi; I may have good news regarding that User:NotthatguyAGAINsayspurplefroggyisasock, the latest Bambifan101 sockpuppet over here. I have been in touch with AT&T regarding his idiocy and they are initiating an investigation. All three of his major BellSouth ranges have been blocked over at English. It's unprecidented, but he's been completely shut off over at English and perhaps the same should be done here. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:47, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Even better! That is truly wonderful news. I've been promising myself that I'd edit this site more and seeing that moron over here and me being helpless to do anything is frustrating as all get-out. When he's finally gone, it will be a pleasure to contribute more over here. Please keep me posted. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:54, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Hezimmerman pasted his CV at Howard E. Zimmerman this morning. Could you QD it? Purplebackpackonthetrail (talk) 00:33, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Old Mill[change source]

Hey, I noticed you speedy deleted an article I wrote. (I'm trying to get some middle school students interested in wiki edditing as a writing exercise). I realize the article was poorly written and didn't contain any reasons for notability, but just wondering what the deal was with it disapearing so quickly. We made the page as a quick brainstorm, then were going to use the korean wikipedia page to help flush it out. By the time we came back, the article they had started was gone. A few questions? A) Should I keep this kinda stubing to userspace or sandboxes, if i'm planing on coming back and filling it out relativly soon? (admitadly, the post was pretty bad, I let the kids do the typing, if it looks a bit more professional, is it okay?) B) Are the criteria for notability at simple wikipedia different than other wikipedias? Or was I just too slow to provide notability evidence? C) Is speedy-deleting (about 15 min. after creation) standard on new articles? — This unsigned comment was added by 116.43.39.92 (talk • changes).

Although I'm not him, I think I can answer these questions. A. Yes, you should, then when it's ready (typos fixed, notability established), move it to article space. B. Notability should be established immediately, and not later on. C. I'm surprised it took 15 minutes. Articles that do not establish notability can be deleted immediately under our deletion policy. Oh, and remember to sign your posts by typing ~~~~ after your message. Best wishes with the students, Griffinofwales (talk) 14:26, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Noted, the lesson was a bit of a dry run. I'll probably have most of the process abstracted and do the uploading myself from now on. Thanks. 60.196.57.20 (talk) 18:07, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I had no idea it was for a class. --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 19:10, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Still. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to create an account, and then build the article in your user space, as Griffin suggested (i.e. user:AccountName/ArticleName). Katerenka Talk 07:24, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I closed your request as unsuccessful due to lack of input. A successful nomination needs at least 25 votes in support. You have 13 in support and 8 in oppose. Keep the head up and try it in a few months again. Best wishes --Barras talk 18:43, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Leave him alone.[change source]

my friend editing this page and said u commented saying he is not worth that comment. 4chan --Huik01 (talk) 22:38, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your unneeded comment which was "Who the hell wrote this?". The person who wrote it accidentally didn't sign it and Griffinofwales added it back. --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 22:36, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS. You should sign your comments also. --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 22:36, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

retiring for now. --Huik01 (talk) 22:40, 27 December 2009 (UTC) unless u can convince me to stay> --Huik01 (talk) 22:40, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What can I do? --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 22:40, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was focussed on getting these extra User accounts dealt with, that I didn't see that H.Eittocs was a mainspace edit. Thanks for sorting that out. --Peterdownunder (talk) 22:55, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

James RFCU[change source]

Shouldn't it be listed in the portal and on the checkuser page, especially due to the lack of comment. I'm probably wrong, but just sayin' Purplebackpack89 (talk) 02:50, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No :P --Bsadowski1(Talk|Changes) 02:51, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
