Copying from other Wikipedias[change source]

Copying articles from other sources, including Wikipedia, is not allowed on the Simple English Wikipedia for several reasons. Firstly is is a breach of the copyright laws. Secondly, articles here must be in Simple English. Articles copied from elswhere are too complex for this wiki. You have already been given a link to read about how to do this. Please read it. If you have questions about the process, please ask, as other editors are always ready to help. We do need simple versions of the articles that you have been copying. However, complex articles copied and pasted here will be deleted. Continuing to do it could be seen as disruptive editing and could lead to you be blocked.
