Welcome
[change source]Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:
- Writing in Simple English
- Where to ask questions and discuss things
- How to copy from another Wikipedia
- Some of our active users
There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 13:37, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Introduction
[change source]Please be advised that Wikipedia:Introduction is an authorized page for new users to make test changes. A bot cleans the page from time to time. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 13:39, 29 August 2016 (UTC)
Deleted pages
[change source]- The reason some of your new pages were deleted is they did not follow our guidelines on notability. New pages must, amongst other things,
- Claim their subject is notable.
- Provide evidence to support the claim.
- Provide sources which are reliable and independent of the subject.
Not every film, tv program or game is notable, just as not every person is notable. Thank you. Macdonald-ross (talk) 19:47, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
- @Macdonald-ross: thank you for the note, I'll be more careful when creating articles. EDwiki (talk) 22:15, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
