Re: Hey![change source]

Sure, I'd be happy to help. One thing to keep in mind is that Simple isn't all that different from the main English Wikipedia, with regards to policy, etiquette, etc. The language itself isn't all that different, as well, with the exception of sentence structure, as well as the vocabulary. The list of basic words that are generally used is here (also here). There are fewer templates and noticeboards here than at en.wp, so that will take some getting used to. Also, we have good articles and very good articles, which are basically the equivalence of featured articles. Feel free to ping my on my talk page if you need help with anything. Cheers, Juliancolton (talk) 16:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you translate an article directly from en.wp, place {{EN Wikipedia}} on the talk page. Juliancolton (talk) 16:57, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Asteroid articles[change source]

Hi there Erik! Great work on 1635 Bohrmann! Might I suggest a few changes:

  • Here at the Simple English Wikipedia, we use Other websites instead of External links.
  • It is a good idea to leave spaces in between infoboxes, the main text of the article, and the stubs and categories/interwikis.
  • We don't have the categories for asteroids named for people or discoveries by certain people yet as they are not yet needed here.

Hope this helps :). Cheers, Razorflame 18:18, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note about hoaxes[change source]

According to our deletion policy, hoaxes are unable to be speedily deleted, however, they are allowed to be put up at the RfD page. Hope this helps :). Cheers, Razorflame 17:17, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
