Helping with Curitiba[change source]

Hello, over the next two weeks, many people will change the article, to fix the issues we have spotted. So when you do bigger changes, place the {{inuse}} template on top; that way, you can edit without being disturbed. The issues we have identified so far:

  • There are a few "figures of speech" that sound like they were directly translated from Portuguese (People with a little Portuguese can help simplify these expressions a lot)
  • In general, you should make shorter sentences, and avoid words that have several meanings.
  • We have started splitting some parts into other articles, at the original 101k, this was probably our biggest article. The parts split off are then linked.
  • Other that we will copyedit the article. At the end of the two weeks, we will hopefully have something where 6 editors voted (The guideline is at Wikipedia:Requirements for very good articles)

Other than that, welcome :) --Eptalon (talk) 00:13, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
