Copying from another Wikipedia[change source]

Hi, please read WP:CW for instructions on how to copy text or pages from another Wikipedia. We have legal requirements to comply with. Thanks fr33kman talk 23:41, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you've decided to jump in and be BOLD. However, as fr33kman has said, you need to attribute text to its source. Otherwise, your edits are technically copyright violations. Also, please make sure you simplify the articles you create here. The language in your new articles is too complicated and we don't need exact copies of articles already on the English Wikipedia. Thanks! EhJJTALK 23:50, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so I saw the how-to article, and I should have noted I used the info from the other English wikipedia. And it was the then-current revision, so it may not reflect what's current. Rockskeeper (talk) 00:07, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
