October 2023[change source]

Hello! Thank you for creating Category:Western Australian locomotives. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles. If you think there might be more pages to add to the new category, please add them now. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 11:09, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am in the process of adding them. Thanks. S547 Lindsay (talk) 11:28, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate categories[change source]

Hello, once you added Category:Western Australian Government Railways locomotives to an article, there is no need to add Category:Australian locomotives (this is already implied by WAGR). The same thing can be said for other sub-categories of Category:Australian locomotives. Thank you for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 13:09, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, sorry. S547 Lindsay (talk) 13:11, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

How to add stub templates to an article[change source]

Stub templates have to come under categories, details are given at w:Wikipedia:Stub#How_to_mark_an_article_as_a_stub. Thank you again for your attention. MathXplore (talk) 13:15, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've put both technology and transport as the categories for stubs - these templates are found on all of my pages. S547 Lindsay (talk) 13:31, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You already have the ability to move pages at this project. You can learn how to do this at this page, so you don't have to ask others every time. MathXplore (talk) 12:50, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks. S547 Lindsay (talk) 13:03, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is just a guideline at our project, but due to this document, many pages match their title with English Wikipedia. Please take your time to take a look at this. MathXplore (talk) 12:52, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Understood, will take a look. S547 Lindsay (talk) 13:04, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to take a look at this page if you want to link pages to Wikidata by yourself. I would like to note that not all of us our active at Wikidata, so we can hardly guarantee that Wikidata-related requests made through this project can be completed. In future, if you have any requests about Wikidata, maybe using Wikidata can be the faster way rather than using simplewiki talk pages. Thank you for your attention.
