First day

Hello, and welcome to SimpleWP. You did a great job with Eucalyptus and Bromeliad. Palm tree is alos much better now. If you want to work I usually do, then look at the Crustacean, I did quite a few article in that category. This afternoon I did Lobster, and a few others; I am not completely happy with the middle section of lobster, that is why I placed an unsimple tag there. I also did quite a few bats, and the rat article. A more general note though: Try to find a category, where the page fits best (not all categories from en exist here, enWP has 1.5 million articles, we have barely over 10.000 ... . Also try to include at least one interwiki link (to another wikipedia; in your case this will most probably be the English one). As to the level of language: Try to keep it simple. Make short sentences. However do not assume you write for children, but rather for adults. Those biology-related articles might be read by biologists, who know about the subject, but who do not know the language well. Other than that, have fun. --Eptalon 22:47, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Why you can't report vandals

Due to recent vandalism of Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress, administrators have been forced to semi-protect the page. This means that users that are not logged in or users who have had an account for less than 3 days can't edit it. I'm sorry, but until these three days pass you should report vandals to an admin's talk page (such as mine or other users at Wikipedia:Administrators. PullToOpen^Talk 23:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Anxiety

So perhaps a simple short hint /new stub could suit. the proposed stub might shorten the historical sides and just say, this is a prominent place for exspecially exotic plants in big special glas houses (with the tradtion etcetc) ??

Palmengarten Frankfurt is full of Cactus etc in extremly large amount. Therefore it is the first place, foreign prominent visitors such as princess X from some Asian adore to see - following local journals... The botanical exhibits are organized according to their origin in free-air or climatized greenhouses, which also contain numerous tropical and subtropical plants. With 29 hectares, it is the largest garden of its kind in Germany". In 1871 opened to the public (one colorful visit was from the American entertainer Buffalo Bill who brought his Western show in 1890.) In 1931, it was taken over by the city of Frankfurt but was later transferred to the American occupation authorities after World War II. When the Palmengarten was returned to the city's hands in the sixties, a major reconstruction effort was begun. Halls destroyed in the war were redeveloped and expanded. In 1992 the reconstruction finished completely and the Palmengarten shined in its new form.

Directly next to the area of the Palmengarten is the Frankfurt Botanical Garden, which belongs to the biology department of Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt.

Even though Category:definitions is protected from creation, the articles marked with need to be marked either as part of it or as {{dicdef}} so they can be tracked for moving them to Simple Wiktionary. Rant

Take it easy. There was a perfectly valid reason for the page move. The wording is not that way to promote one country over another. What ever happened to Assume Good Faith? List of police forces in the United Kingdom

I noticed that you changed the Free Irish state to Northern Ireland, but enwiki seems to think it is the free Irish State, and the date of 1922 (Beginning of the Police force and the State) seems to tie in with that.
