Usha Chilukuri Vance (née Chilukuri; born January 6, 1986) is an American attorney and the wife of the junior United States Senator from Ohio, J. D. Vance.[2]

Vance was a law clerk between 2014 to 2015 for then–Circuit Judge Brett Kavanaugh and between 2017 to 2018 for Chief Justice John Roberts.[3] In May 2019, she began working for a law firm in Washington, D.C..[4]

On July 15, 2024, former president and Republican nominee Donald Trump selected her husband as the party's vice presidential candidate, and the two were officially nominated at the 2024 Republican National Convention.

Chilukuri met her future husband, author J. D. Vance, while they were students at Yale.[5]
