The outcome of this request for deletion was to Keep. Non-admin closure; I think it's at the least a no consensus.SS✞(Kay) 06:06, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Diego (talk) has nominated this page for deletion for the reason:
- Too many bizarre redirects.
Please discuss this deletion below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options that are not just "keep" or "delete", such as merging.
Discussion[change source]
- Delete as nom. --Diego (talk) 02:10, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Those redirects are quite unuseful. Who will be searching ASDFGHJKLÑ at Wikipedia. They are mostly known as the home row, that's why I disagree with them existing. --Диего Грез (Diego Grez) (говорить) 15:56, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Serves the purpose. Redirects the idea. Jon@talk:~$ 02:21, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep; I know we're not supposed to be encouraging unlikely redirects, but these are possible vandalism targets otherwise and relatively harmless as is. Kansan (talk) 02:22, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as valid-ish redirects. –Juliancolton | Talk 02:28, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Kansan. —§ stay (sic)! 02:29, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
KeepWeak Keep per Kansan, me too. ♥ Belinda ♥ 06:09, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Changed to weak keep at second thought. ♥ Belinda ♥ 06:46, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Microscopically weak keep SS✞(Kay) 06:43, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete as quite useless. These are highly unlikely search terms, and they don't exist on the English Wikipedia, so I'm not sure why we should bother to keep them around. I know redirects are cheap, but I at least think they should be plausible. PeterSymonds (talk) 12:05, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong Delete per PeterSymonds. In addition, it looks like nonsense, there are barely any hits on google that relate to home keys. In a nutshell: Its completely useless. I-on|I-Гalk |I-PrФjecГ 13:47, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and move Home keys to Home row. This is somewhat unlikely search term, but redirects are cheap. I think it was just a matter of time before these pages were created as vandalism, and I would much rather see them being used for something like this.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 17:57, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I would like to request that if this is deleted, that the pages be salted to avoid them being recreated as vandalism pages. (Posting this on an alt account as Gordonrox24 has the flood flag on and this is faster than removing it and then putting it back on.)--Gordonrox2448 (talk) 22:50, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Redirects are cheap. -DJSasso (talk) 16:35, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per PeterSymonds. This is home row on some keyboards, but the likelyhood of someone searching for them? Should we make aoeuidhtns if the user has a Dvorak keyboard? Also, many people here are not native English speakers, so we would need שדגכעיחלך for a Hebrew keyboard, so on and so forth. :) But again, the point is moot. I doubt these redirects will see much, if any, use. -Avicennasis @ 16:58, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as I highly doubt anyone would search these while looking for "home keys". Also, these are not the home keys for everyone. Airplaneman talk 22:39, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per Peter. Griffinofwales (talk) 22:47, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Weak delete per Petersymonds. Redirects are cheap, but this is useless. Classical Esther♣ 07:22, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]- Keep - If someone doesn't know that asdfjkl; are called the home keys, this is a great way to learn that. EhJJTALK 17:32, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - No-one will search this, so it is pointless to have it as a redirect. Quantum4 Send me a message 21:30, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. En-wiki have a similar redirect. It's free, and all this effort to delete it has probably superseded the effort to create the redirect by two orders of magnitude. What a waste of time. The Rambling Man (talk) 21:34, 22 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep On second thought, they do no harm to Wikipedia, and they might do some good. They can be a good stumbling-block to vandals. Per TRM & EhJJ. Classical Esther♣ 03:01, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Classic, Rambler, and Eh. Perfectly fine to have redirects Purplebackpack89 (Notes Taken) (Locker) 04:51, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
