I'm filling out the missing information on simplewiki (and that's its joy... as opposed to enwiki which already has much) and plan to expand some articles and even attempt to pass some criteria in relation to quality articles, in the future.
I also patrol recent changes and new articles, revert dubious information and wikify/correct what's needed to be done.
I'd like this to be a review not just of the present but also of the near future when I do more work. -- Mentifisto 23:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • I was checking for recent vandalism, then I saw you reverting some of it. I decided to check your userpage to see who you were, for the very first time. I noticed that you were having an editor review! This is the first time in a while I've actually reviewed anyone, but I'll give it a try. :) You have done excellent vandalism fighting, very good job on it! You have also created good stub articles! Just a suggestion, but it is often good to be involved with community discussions. For example, WP:ST, WP:PGA, WP:PVGA and WP:DYK. This things help maintain the project. Otherwise, excellent editing, and I look forward to getting to know you. ;) TheAE talk 03:36, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Good job on the vandalism reverting that you have done so far here, and great work on the stubs that you have made so far. It is great to finally see a more serious editor come over from the English Wikipedia in a while! Like AE said above, I would really like to see more interaction with the community, but that isn't a priority for you yet. While it might be a good idea to get to know the community, I would recommend that you work on articles for the moment, and once you are comfortable with the creation of stubs and articles here, to branch out and start participating in the community. Sit back and watch and you will learn a lot :). Cheers, Razorflame 03:42, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agree with both Razoflame and with AE. You'll soon find out that unlike other projects, we are a real, true community here and we all know each other on sight. Get working on mainspace, contribute to community discussion and let's see where that takes us. fr33kman t - c 03:48, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Thanks for all the reviews so far. I plan to check related changes to the talk pages to get involved in the community. Usually I only respond to something that I feel I really need to talk about (or if I'm starting a topic myself). But yes, I'll try to catch discussions being made and take part in them (on a side note, Special:RecentChangesLinked couldn't display diffs/content with all the edits in the time span, could it?). -- Mentifisto 21:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I'm happy so far with all the articles I created (that I listed on my userpage) but I suppose I think the latest Pluralism may be relatively the best in comparison (of course that's nothing to what I'll do when I have more time).
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
    Not yet applicable.
