Quarters[change source]

The rules currently state that the top two from each pool move on to the quarter finals. However, the quarter finals bracket has eight slots, but ten editors will qualify for the quarters based on two from each of the five pools. How is this going to work for the quarters? ST47 from enwp here, SwirlBoy asked me to stop by and offer the use of a bot to update your statistics table. If you guys want to, I can set it up, I just need a little configuration info and to change the setup of your page a bit. The bot would probably be best off with the table being held in a subpage, so the bot doesn't overwrite any changes. I'll need to reconfigure the bot slightly to use the colors for the pools instead of letters, but that should work out. It looks like the submission pages exist at User:SwirlBoy39/Wikicup_Edit_Count, etc. Getting the bot to load that format would be a rather significant change. On EN, we have each user list the articles they are claiming under a sub-heading, and I do intend to rewrite the bot to be compatible with more formats, however getting that far would be a ways off, and may not even be within the scope of the rewrite, so I'd probably be better off setting up a separate module for this project. Other than the submissions page format and forking out the table, everything else would be accomplished by my rewrite, which would add configurability and make the bot able to work with just about any system you guys set up. We definately need something, because I am not keeping a record of my own edits. I am not updating User: space every time I update article space... Good lick with the bot. Kennedy (talk) 21:25, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I would have to agree with this here. We will definitely be needing some sort of automated score updating service because it is starting to get a bit of a hassle to have to keep track of your own scores. While I myself don't mind doing it, I am sure that there are going to be several users that would not like doing it at all. Cheers, Razorflame 21:31, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Colours[change source]

Can someone change the colours of the pools (or the tables)? It hurts my eyes a lot. Chenzw  Talk  06:07, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done, thanks. :) PeterSymonds (talk) 06:19, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That's bizarre. I changed them to better colors a couple of days ago. I wonder why ST47 chose to change them back when he made the subpage. Either way (talk) 12:30, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikicup[change source]

I am leaving the wikicup. I don't have the time for it anymore. VandalFighterFR(V) Bad warning? 14:18, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
