It has been regarded as Lynn's signature songs. It has been covered by The Grateful Dead, Tina Turner, Martina McBride for her eighth studio album Timeless and Tanya Tucker re-recorded as a duet with Loretta Lynn for Lynn's 46th and final studio album Still Woman Enough.
