Malta at the Olympics is a history which began in 1928.

The International Olympic Committee's official abbreviation for Malta was MAT.[1] It is now MLT.[2]

Teams from Malta have been in 14 Summer Olympic Games. They have never been in the Winter Olympic Games. They are the only European member of the IOC not to be in the Winter Olympics.

As of 2011 no Maltese athlete has won an Olympic medal.

The Maltese Olympic Committee was formed in 1928[3] and recognized by the IOC in 1936.
