Protected Edit Request[change source]

{{editprotected}} I'd like to request to change the admin top icon. The changes are below.

{{Top icon | imagename = {{{image| {{#ifeq: {{{1|}}}|tan|Wikipe-tan mopping.svg|Wikipedia Administrator.svg}} }}} | wikilink = Wikipedia:Administrators | description = This user has administrator privileges on the Simple English Wikipedia. | id = administrator-icon | icon_nr = {{{icon_nr|{{{number|0}}}}}} | extra_offset = {{{extra_offset|{{{offset|0}}}}}} | width = {{{width|24}}} | style = {{#ifeq: {{{1|}}}|tan|margin-top:-6px;}} {{{style|}}} | usercat = [[Category:Wikipedia administrators]] | nocat = {{{nocat|}}} }} Eurodyne (talk) 07:09, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Eurodyne:, it's not clear from the code what the change is and why you're requesting it. Please explain. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:33, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6: it mostly makes the symbol in the right upper corner little larger from what I can see and also automatically adds the Admin category to the pages where the template is used. It replaces the .png files with newer .svg ones. -Barras talk 15:00, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6: The icon on enwiki, ptwiki, kuwiki, etc. all have this topicon I have posted above. I think that it's time the admin topicon should be larger and updated with the new .svg image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eurodyne (talkcontribs) 15:25, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Eurodyne: As for the icon, I don't object to changing it if there's a reason, but we don't necessarily need to be the same as other wikis. Is there something wrong with the icon we're using?
As for the category, we used to have that category, but deleted it at this RfD, so I wouldn't add that. What are the references to "tan" in the imagename and style lines? --Auntof6 (talk) 18:13, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't normally do template editing myself and don't quit know what "tan" means. The main reason I proposed this change was to make the icon larger and like the one on enwiki. Eurodyne (talk) 03:00, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm afraid I don't see the need for that. I think the size is in line with our other top icon templates, and there's no need I can see for us to match enwiki. I'm going to decline this request, although I'm open to revisiting if there's a real reason for the change. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:50, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
