Welcome!

Hi there, i'm Benzband. What about you?

Note: if you want a swift answer to your posts, please leave a little note at my talk page on the english Wikipedia. - Benzband (talk)

Hello there, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! Please note that we do not accept articles that have been: "Completely copied from the English Wikipedia". While the article you created may just be simple enough for it to stay, if you wish to contribute articles and content here, you can simplify the English version, or do it from scratch. If you do not do these things, and the article is complex, it will be deleted by one of our 39 administrators. Have a nice day! Orashmatash 16:01, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Punk-related stub tags[change source]

Hi, and welcome to Simple English Wikipedia. Thanks for creating the punk music stub templates. You might want to look at Wikipedia:Simple Stub Project to see the process for creating new stub types. Here on Simple we keep the number of different stub types to a minimum. For that reason, I changed the templates you created to be redirects to {{music-stub}}. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Cheers! --Auntof6 (talk) 20:02, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gallipoli Campaign[change source]

Thank you for your good faith edits on Gallipoli Campaign. While you said it was based on the English Wikipedia article, I, as the author of the article, can tell you that it was based on my own research, from sources such as websites and Encyclopædia Britannica, not on the English Wikipedia article (even though it may look similar to that article). But, don't worry, I realise that your edits were made in good faith. Thanks again, DJDunsie (talk) 21:02, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry about that. On page Winston Churchill (current wiki-collaboration) i found a red link to Gallipoli, in place of Gallipoli Campaign. I corrected the link and tried to enhance your article with the infobox from the English Wikipedia. Thus i added that as reference because the article had no refs.
Thanks for removing it, though, if you feel it shouldn't be there… (makes no difference to me :) Happy editing! - Benzband (talk) 09:45, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I also added {{Commons|Gallipoli Campaign}}, because i recently worked on that page on Wikimedia Commons. There are lots of great pictures there. - Benzband (talk) 09:50, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. I just deleted Wikipedia:PUNK per R2. Hope that isn't a problem. If you need any help, let me know!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 03:19, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gordonrox24. I didn't realise these kind of shortcuts weren't allowed because they are used on English Wikipedia. Thanks for informing me though, because quite a few pages linked there (but i fixed the links :) - Benzband (talk) 08:07, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
