The next General elections will be held in India from 19 April 2024 to 1 June 2024 to elect 543 members for the 18th Lok Sabha. The elections will be held in seven phases and the results will be announced on 4 June 2024. The current Prime Minister of India is Narendra Modi of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1]

Election schedule[change | change source]

The Election Commission of India (ECI) will announce the schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha elections. The tenure of the current 17th Lok Sabha's time will finish on 16 June 2024.[2]
