Adams County, Illinois

Adams County is the westernmost county of the U.S. state of Illinois. As of the 2010 census, the population was 67,103.[1] Its county seat is Quincy.[2] Its name is in honor of the sixth President of the United States, John Quincy Adams.

Adams County was founded in 1825.
