Ajamu Baraka (born October 25, 1953) is an African American human rights activist. He was the Green Party's presumptive nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2016 election, running with Jill Stein. Baraka has taught political science at Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, and other academic institutions.
