American Psycho (movie)
American Psycho is a 2000 American satirical crime drama movie. It stars Christian Bale, Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto, Chloë Sevigny and Reese Witherspoon. It is set in New York City in the late 1980s. The central character is an investment banker who is quickly revealed to be a serial killer, balancing his life of maintaining an upper-class, socialite image while managing his unraveling mental state. The movie is based on a novel by Bret Easton Ellis that is also called American Psycho.
