- @Auntof6 - I created it this morning due to the error showing on all of the Simpsons episodes that have it. However, I cannot clean up the errors they created with the Simpsons episode template they created because it is auto-populating things that simply do not exist on simple. - @PotsdamLamb: If it's populated, then there's something wrong. Deleting the category (this one and the other nominated one) will not change that, it will just result in a redlinked category. I think the redlinked category is worse. As for the errors, can you be a little clearer?
- Please clarify "the errors they created with the Simpsons episode template they created". Who is "they"? What errors are you referring to? Let's fix the template instead of leaving the errors in place. If you can't fix it, maybe someone else can. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:13, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Auntof6: - It is hard to describe so maybe you can figure it out. The only thing that is populating this cat and the other cat is the Simpsons episodes using the template:Infobox Simpsons episode which pulls in numerous things that do not exist. I tried one of them to fix but it did not and instead created a second red link on the article for the same link which I had already calling for Template:Television episode short description. - @PotsdamLamb: I'm sorry, but I have a hard time understanding you sometimes. What do you mean by your sentence that starts "I tried one of them to fix but it did not"? Maybe you can explain in detail what you did, one small step at a time. - @Auntof6: - I was trying to fix the template to not call the template located at the top of the articles (Template:Television episode short description) which is one of the items being called for by (template:Infobox Simpsons episode). - @PotsdamLamb: OK, I lied: I looked at it now anyway. I made a change and nothing now links to that short description template except your QD log. - @Auntof6: - LOL It is all good. I am fine with that, except for one exception. The only articles in these two categories are the limited few Simspons episode. - @PotsdamLamb: There's nothing wrong with leaving the categories empty. In any case, I think I see the reason things end up in these categories, and I can look at it a little later.
