Newtown is an electoral district of New South Wales. It was created in 1859, abolished in 1894, recreated in 1904, reabolished in 1920, recreated again in 1927, reabolished again in 1950 and recreated for a fourth time in 2015.

It is a progressive electorate.

Newtown is located in the Sydney CBD.
