Garth Ennis

Garth Ennis (born 16 January 1970) is a Northern Irish-American[1] comics writer. He is best known for Preacher, The Boys, Hellblazer, Marvel Comics' The Punisher and DC Comics' Hitman. He worked a lot with artist Steve Dillon. In 1998, he was awarded the Eisner Award for Best Writer.

Ennis was born in Holywood, County Down. He is an atheist.[2]
