Ice sledge hockey at the 2017 ASEAN Para Games

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ice sledge hockey competitions at the 2017 ASEAN Para Games in Kuala Lumpur was held at the Empire City Ice Arena in Selangor and served as part of the qualification for the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang.[1] This is the only time that ice sledge hockey was included at the ASEAN Para Games. The next edition of the tournament would be included at the 2020 ASEAN Para Games in the Philippines but it was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2017 games featured men's tournament as a official event and women's tournament as a demonstration event.
