Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa (born August 1, 1979) is an American actor, model, director, writer and producer. He played Ronon Dex in the television series Stargate: Atlantis and as Khal Drogo in the Home Box Office television series Game of Thrones. His father is of Native Hawaiian descent, and his mother is of German, Irish and Native American descent.

He also starred in the movie Conan the Barbarian.[2] In 2014, he directed his first movie Road to Paloma. Momoa played Duncan Idaho in Dune and Aquaman, one of the superheroes in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and the 2018 movie of the same name.
