Joker: Folie à Deux is an upcoming American musical psychological thriller movie. It is expected to be released on October 4, 2024 in North America.[2] It is the sequel to the 2019 movie Joker. It was directed by Todd Phillips, who also directed the last movie.[3] The movie will not be a part of the main DC Universe (DCU).[4]

Principal photography for the movie started in Los Angeles on December 10, 2022 and ended on April 5, 2023.[5][6] Filming also took place in New York with a scene taking place at the Joker Stairs.[7]
