On April 20, 2023, Larry Elder, an American right-wing political commentator[1] and conservative talk radio host[2] who ran for Governor of California in 2021, announced his campaign for president of the United States.[3]

A few months after the recall election in California, Elder began thinking about the idea of running for president.[4]

On October 26, 2023, Elder ended his campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump's re-election bid.[5]
