MacPherson MRT Station (CC10/DT26) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit interchange station between the Circle Line and the Downtown Line in Geylang. It is located along Paya Lebar Road, near the Geylang Neighbourhood Police Centre. The station, and the nearby housing estate, is named after Colonel Ronald Macpherson, the first Colonial Secretary of the Straits Settlements in 1867.
This is one of the few stations on the network which has easy transfers between the Circle Line and Downtown Line platforms, connected through escalators.[1]
